Wolf Tour League (WTL) Rules, Guidelines, and Overview
--Overview--
-WTL is a Draft League. The way a draft league works is a pool of players is taken and divided into x amount of teams in a even, unbiased format to create a fair, fun, competitive atmosphere.
-The draft teams are created by league admins, refs, and team captains. Team captains are appointed by WTL admins, 1 captain per team. The admins, refs, and captains all sit down and discuss who shuld be on what team, etc until all the teams r completed and agreed on by everyone. Admins then randomly assign captains a team. By doing this captains cant try and stack teams, because they have no idea which they will be assigned to.
--Season Format--
-A WTL season will consist of a 6 week regular season and a championship game between the two top teams in the league on a 7th week.
-Maps for season #1 are as follows (order TBA): ice, beach, base, village, rocket, assault, and te_frostbite. Links to download frostbite will be posted on both the forum and the site.
--Match Format--
-1 map per match, first to 3 points wins
-SW format, ABBA
-Point system works as follows:
-Team with the quicker time scores the point (example: team a sets a time of 7:26 on beach, if team b beats that time, they get the point, if they dont, team a gets the point)
-If both teams full hold in 1 round (neither team transmit docs/blows up obj) 1 point will be awarded to each team. HOWEVER! If when both teams are awarded 1 point results in a win for 1 team, neither team will recieve a point. (example: if the score is 2-1 team a, and both team a and b full hold, since this 1 point per team would result in a win for team a, neither team recieves a point) You can not win by full holds.
--Season Scoring System--
-Win=3 points
-Loss=1 points
-Forfeit=0 points
-Two teams with most points at the end of the season will play in the championship
--Captains--
-Captains will be appointed by admins
-Role of Captains:
-Help choose draft team
-Have team ready to play in matches
-Report losses to admins on the forum
--Illegal Actions/Map Exploits--
-This list includes anything that can cause a team to lose due via forfiet by violating anything on the list below. This is not an all inclusive list: examples are given here, not every single particular case.
--Hacking--
-PB Hacks,PB multihacks, WH, Aimbots, Mombots, and any other hack that can be caught with PB or by demo. Penalty will be a forfiet for the team and expulsion of that player from the league.
--Kill/revive boosts--
-It is illegal to use the revive shield and a grenade to boost a player to a spot normally unreachable. Keep in mind that some areas that seem unreachable can be reached through trickjump. Example: kill/revive boost over beach wall. A demo would be extremely helpful to protest this.
Penalty: 1st - warning
2nd - loss of round
3rd - forfiet of match, players suspended
***NOTE*** Team boosts (using teammates as steps) is legal when using 2 OR LESS teammates. Using 3 or more is iilegal and will go along with current boost penalites. I.e. You got warned for a grenade boost, then try to use 3 teammates for a boost = loss of round. They carry over.
--Map Exploits--
-Very similar to the kill/revive boost rule, however this covers any miscellaneous topics. Revived/respawned players boosted by airstrike (friendly or enemy), grenades, pazner blast, etc., to a roof or tower that they cannot reach through trickjump.
Example here is the mountain on Assault behind the Gate Flag. It does not matter if it was accidental or planned; players MUST /kill immediately. NO exceptions for any reasons, or any player. This also covers passing tricks with obj. This would constitute taking the gold in village through the Axis spawn and /kill to pass it through gate next to the Allies' truck on Village. Airstriking the inner compound outside R2 on Base would fall underneath this category as well
Penalty: 1st - loss of round
2nd - suspension of players
