also is explained in the thread Team grim v. team fey base....
now, wtl hasnt issued any rule regaridng the amount of ringers to be allowed, or how ringers transalte into forfeits. plz bear with us with rules and regulations regarding match, we are only 2 weeks into the first season ever in this league's history and we are trying to work out some kinks and get this thing going in the right direction. that being said, this will be the rule regarding ringers and forfeit
Scenario 1: If Team A has only 5 players and Team B has 6, Team A will not be allowed 2 use ringers to bring their team count up to 6. The match will be played 5v6. Scenario 2: If Team A has on 4 players and Team B has 6, Team A will be allowed to use ONE (1) ringer to bring their count up to 5. IF a player from Team A shows up, he will be allowed to play, but the ringer must leave. Having to use this 1 ringer will not result in a forfeit. Scenario 3: If Team A has 3 players and Team B has 6, Team A can use 2 ringers to bring its count up to 5, or 3 ringers to bring their count to 6. Either way it doesnt matter, if a team must use 2 or more ringers to bring its count to 5, it will result in a forfeit.

my theory on this,
No ringers you play with what you have, if a team has only 3, then the opposing team either puts up 3 people to play 3v3 , or the un-prepared team takes the loss, just like in anything else.
its the players responsibility to show up and play, they should be aware of this when signing up.
each team has more then enough players to play 6v6 each game.

Tex in a weird sort of way has a point though..Get too many ringers and pretty much you don't have a set team anymore. ...If that even makes sense to anyone.

If 5 or 6 total individuals on assigned teams cannot show up - THEN FORFEIT. Ringers cannot determine an official score - they are not on the team. If 4 people show, the forfeit should happen and they can use the time for fun and split teams how they want - why not. But official results - Negative! It appears to be a moral lapse of judgement to me if it counts.

At the start of the league I thought that some effort had been admirably been put in by the admins to make sure the teams were quite well balanced and give all signed up players a taste for some war. ;D ;D this means noob war players like me get a chance to improve and learn what it's all about. In other words there is no way that players that have not signed up can play a league war. Ringers sux in my opinion - the 3v3 is not to bad a deal if 1 team doesn't have enough, but it can hardly be a replacement for 6V6 and it sure sux for the team that had all it's players show up - they have to drop out I think if you can't get your team to play then you can't win the war and have to forfeit.

Tex in a weird sort of way has a point though..Get too many ringers and pretty much you don't have a set team anymore. ...If that even makes sense to anyone. look, wtl is not trying 2 promote using ringers. if i had it my way, there would be no ringers and every team would always have 6 ppl of their own to play. but this is not a perfect league. for us to make this lleague work we are going to have to be flexible on the issue of ringers. i myself would rather have 5v6 competitive matches w/ a ringer than a 4v6 match where 1 team is just spawn raping the other. this league is about competition anf fun and to retain both of those ringers may have to be used during matches. but read the rules, 1 ringer tops ppl, ne more and u get the forfeit. but we cannot be so cut throat on this rule and allow no ringers what so ever, or the same thing will happen to this league is gonna to happen to every other 1.33 league, it will quickly fail.

1 ringer per team is good, All though, i wouldnt suggest taking a ringer from another team to play on your team, They can figure out your playing style and use it against your team. So if possible, try and find a ringer that is not on any team in the league, if you need to get one from the league thats not on your team.. Good luck.
